Ionized and electroneutral proper point defects in PbTe and PbSe

Description
Equilibrium concentrations of charge carriers and Te dissolved in PbTe, Se dissolved in PbSe, are compared. It is shown that at low temperatures and high pressures of chalcogen vapour in PbTe crystals alongside with single-ionized the electoneuntral proper point defects are present in considerable amounts; in PbSe crystals single-ionized proper point defects evidently of two types prevail
