Measuring bremsstrahlung beam intensity by the nuclear resonance scattering method

Description

Methods of measuring bremsstrahlung beam intensity on the base of nuclear resonance scattering at 15.11 MeV level of 12C nucleus is described. Flowsheet of the setup is presented. Bremsstrahlung photons scattered on 12C target of 2 cm thick are registered by scintillation counter with NaI(Tl) crystal with 15 cm diameter and 15 cm height installed at the angle of 90 deg relatively to primary beam direction is presented. Relative accuracy of determining beam intensity by means of the suggested method constitutes 0.15-0.2%
