An unexpected product n-(3-((2-fluorobenzyl)thio)-5-methyl-4h- 1,2,4-triazol-4-yl)acetimidamide: synthesis and structure analysis

Description
A new 1,2,4-triazole compound, C/sub 12/H/sub 14/FN/sub 5/S, has been obtained accidently in our synthesis process, its structure was confirmed by 1H NMR and X-ray diffraction. X-ray indicated that three intermolecular hydrogen bonds N5-H5A...N3, N5-H5A...N4, N5-H5B...N4 were observed. (author)
