Description

From the simulation of intermediate energy heavy-ion collisions by using the isospin dependent quantum molecular dynamics, the calculated results show the strong isospin effects on the colliding systems with different ratios of neutron to proton, such as isospin effects on the multiplicity of intermediate mass fragments Nimf and the radial flow Etrans for neutron-poor system are larger than those of neutron-rich system. Especially authors have found that the correlation between the multiplicity of intermediate mass fragments Nimf and the total number of charged particles Nc for reversible reaction systems in chosen energy region, and the radial flow Etrans from the central collisions of symmetrical colliding systems in few hundred MeV/nucleon region are sensitive to the isospin dependence of in-medium nucleon-nucleon cross section and almost independent of the nuclear symmetry energy. The comparable studies systematically between experimental investigations and theoretical simulations are suggested to exploring the isospin dependence of in-medium nucleon-nucleon cross section from the correlation between Nimf and Nc, or from the radial flow Etrans in intermediate energy heavy ion collisions
