Description

The method described is applicable to accident desimetry. Its advantages include that dose determination only little depends on the object orientation with respect to radiation direction. The BOMAB and REMAB phantoms filled with an NaCl aqueous solution were used in experiments. Induced activity was measured with a whole-body counter. The probability of neutron capture in the human body was calculated for a Snyder cylinder 30 cm in diameter. (M.S.)
