Recent developments in antimatter cosmology

Description

The possible existence of antimatter on a cosmic scale is discussed. The condition of nucleon-antinucleon separation according to general relativity in an isotropic universe are analysed, after which coalescence, i.e. the induction of fluid movements in the emulsion at the matter-antimatter boundary by annihilation, is examined. This leads to the origin of the galaxies and could explain the excess of bigh energy cosmic photons revealed experimentally

Abstract (French)

L'existence eventuelle d'antimatiere a l'echelle cosmique est discutee. Les conditions de separation nucleon-antinucleon d'apres la relativite generale dans un univers isotrope sont analysees. La coalescence, c'est-a-dire l'induction de mouvements fluides dan l'emulsion a la frontiere matiere-antimatiere par l'annihilation est ensuite etudiee. Ceci mene a l'origine des galaxies et pourrait expliquer l'exces de photons cosmiques de haute energie mis en evidence experimentalement
