Thermonuclear device

Description

The invention can be used when developing controlled thermonuclear fusion devices. The thermonuclear device comprises a sectioned helical toroidal vacuum chamber and magnetic system comprising coils forming a spiral toroidal solenoid, stabilizing and controlling conductors, which are located on the force frame. To simplify the device the stabilizing and controlling conductors are equipped with supporting elements and form a force frame and vacuum chamber and solenoid coils are fixed to supporting elements. The device preserves the magnetic field configuration favourable for plasma confinement without current transmission in the plasma itself and confining the field sufficient for currentless heating methods, provides for a stable high pressure plasma confinement (β=0.-0.3). 2 figs
