A liquid 3He detector for fast meutrons

Description

A new detector for measurements on flux and energy of fast neutrons is described. The spectrometer contains liquid 3He, which acts both as target material for the 3He(n,p)3H reaction and as scintillator for the detection of the charged reaction products. A detailed description of the construction is given, and the properties of the detector are reported. (Auth.)
