Synthesis of Ga68-labeled radiopharmaceutical by first indigenous synthesis module made in India (single centre experience)

  • 1. Platinum Imaging Centre, Delhi (India)

Description

Gallium-68 somatostatin receptor PET/CT (positron emission tomography/Computed tomography) has been used in the diagnosis of neuroendocrine tumors. At our centre we routinely synthesized 68Ga labelled PSMA and DOTANOC by first indigenous synthesis module made in India. The aim of the present study is to share our experience regarding the synthesis of generator based 68Ga-labelled radiopharmaceutical using a PRPL (PET radiopharmacy Pvt Ltd) indigenous module. We got a good yield using indigenous manual module generator based PET radiotracer 68Ga-radiopharmaceuticals. Being made in India with indigenous technology the cost of running the module is very economical compared with other existing modules
