Model representation of mid-latitudinal electron density by means of Interkosmos-19 data

Description
Data from the Interkosmos-19 satellite were used to develop a model of the topside ionosphere for the years of high solar activity between 1979 and 1982. For lower solar activity, satellite, rocket and incoherent Thomson scatter data were used. The data are averaged for three regions in Europe, America and Asia, and presented in a series of graphs, illustrating the theoretical electron density profiles
