High-p/sub T/ hadronic-jet production
Description
The production of high-p/sub T/ hadronic jets is discussed using quantum-chromodynamic perturbation theory. Predictions are given for both single-jet and two-jet cross sections. Effects due to the transverse motion of the interacting partons are discussed at length. Various parton-model tests are discussed and performed using existing data
