Configuration studies for TJ-I upgrade

Description
The main characteristics of the new TJ-I Upgrade installation are reported. It is shown that 1=1/ m=6 configuration fulfills all the TJI Upgrade requirements. It has a deep magnetic well, good stability, sufficient microwave launching conditions and is rather insensitive to field errors. (author). 6 figs
