What does it mean to transfer road transport from fossil fuels to clean hydrogen?

Description

It would take huge investment to enable road transport to run on hydrogen. In the meantime, the hydrogen energy sector is likely to develop in stages, as Germany is currently doing with its 9 billion euros project in the North Sea. This will enable governments and private investors to refine the technological choices to be made and to see more clearly the costs involved (investment, operation) so that they can be compared with all the other possible options: small, fuel-efficient combustion vehicles, biofuels, piggyback transport, public transport, a mix of all these options and others
