Description
A study using a batch mode of the synergistic effect of ultrasound and Ag/MEO in destruction of organic waste was introduced. The results of tests indicate that the maximum current efficiency of almost all tests is in the range of 100%∼140%, higher than theoretical maximum value (100%). It can be inferred the synergistic effect of Ag/MEO and ultrasound is remarkable. However, the variation in ultrasound intensity has less effect on current efficiency in the first treatment, while effect is remarkable only with ultrasound wave but without Ag2+ in the second treatment.
