Interaction of Mo(VI) complexes with L-amino acids
Description
Interaction of Mo(VI) with L-lysine, L-phenylalanine and L-histidine in solution have been studied potentiometrically. Stepwise protonation constants of ligands the formation constants of complexes and the values of overall changes in ΔG, ΔH and ΔS, accompanying the reaction have been evaluated at three different temperature at an ionic strength of 0.20 M NaClO4. The trend in stability constants values of Mo(VI) has been found to be L-lysine>L-histidine>L-phenylalanine and its probable composition in solution is observed to be 1:3. (author). 2 tabs., 6 refs
