Description

This report covers preliminary measurements from SLD on heavy quark production at the Z0, using 150,000 hadronic Z0 decays accumulated during the 1993-1995 runs. A measurement of Rb with a lifetime double tag is presented. The high electron beam polarization of the SLC is employed in the direct measurement of the parity-violating parameters Ab and Ac by use of the left-right forward-backward asymmetry. The lifetimes of B+ and B0 mesons have been measured by two analyses. The first identifies semileptonic decays of B mesons with high (p,pt) leptons; the second analysis isolates a sample of B meson decays with a two-dimensional impact parameter tag and reconstructs the decay length and charge using a topological vertex reconstruction method
