Modeling of the size effect on the hysteresis characteristics of core-shell nanoparticles Co-Au

  • 1. Department of Theoretical and Experimental Physics, School of Natural Sciences FEFU, 8 Syhanova st., Vladivostok (Russian Federation)

Description

Study of the dependence of hysteretic characteristics of core-shell Co-Au nanoparticles on size was conducted within the model of two-phase nanoparticles. It was shown, that coercive field, residual saturation magnetization and saturation magnetization decreasing with sizes of Co-Au particles due to the increasing role of thermal fluctuations. The simulation results of the size effect on the hysteresis characteristics of the core-shell nanoparticles are in good agreement with the experimental data. (paper)
