Contact terms in e.m. decays of mesons
Description
The ratios Rsub(J)(P) is equivalent to GAMMA(J→P+P-γ)/GAMMA(JP+P-), P=π or K, have been evaluated as due to contact interactions generated by gauge invariance, for mesons with natural Jsup(P). Rsub(J) increases rapidly with J. This provides unambiguous tests for the model and indicates that contact terms are prolific sources of photons and leptons in hadron collisions. (Auth.)
