Evaluation of Cr and Ni neutron cross sections in the 0.025 eV-15 MeV energy range

Description
The total chromium and nickel files, introduced into the Socrator library are described. All neutron cross sections of chromium and nickel have been estimated in the energy range from thermal to 15 MeV. The above estimate has been compared with the data of 26-group constant library BNAB. The comparison points out to an essential difference between results of the above estimate and the one used in reactor problems of the BNAB system, especially in the resonance energy range. In particular, according to the above estimate, the radiation capture cross section in the range of 1-400 keV is 30-40% higher than in BNAB
