Description

Much of the lichen species of the taxon Solenopsora (eg Solenopsora candicans, Solenopsora cesatii, Solenopsora grisea) are bound to carbonate rocks. However, Solenopsora liparina is a species that has an affinity for serpentinite rocks. At this stage of the research, the authors therefore focused on this species of lichen. (authors)
