Self-screening factors of neutron total cross sections

Description
The correction of neutron total cross section self-screening factors has been made for Mg, Si, S, V, Cr, Cu, Zn, Ga, Zr, Nb, Mo, Th and U nuclei in the energy range of 50 KeV-2.5 MeV using neutron-transmission nonexponentiality measurements. The data are presented in the energy intervals adopted in the 26-group constant system. The comparison of the self-screening factors with those available elsewhere exhibits the trend of general underestimation of resonance effects
