Methods of porous structure stabilization in niobium base sintered powders

  • 1. Khar'kovskij Politekhnicheskij Inst., Kharkov (Ukraine)

Description

Aimed at stabilization of working parameters of semiconductor oxide capacitors it is proposed to stabilize a porous structure of niobium sintered compacts using hydrogenation of initial powder and sintered material nitration. Powder hydrogenation intensifies pore formation and results in final porous structure with predominent contribution of open submicropores. This means an essential increase of specific surface of sintered powders. The nitration of sintered powders stabilizes their porous structure at the expense of its coarsening due to a decrease of volume concentration of unstable small pores. 10 refs.; 3 figs.; 1 tab
