Isostructural decomposition and ordering of solid solutions in Ce-Co-Cu system

Description

Crystal structure and coercive force of hard-magnetic alloys in Ce-Co-Cu system were investigated. It was shown that the process of isostructural decom position begins in these alloys with formation of spherical complexes in the bas e solid solution. Atom positioning in the crystal lattice of complexes and separation phase is ordered. The kind of ordering corresponds to Th2Zn1 (Th2Ni17) or Ce5-Co19 type depending on alloy composition.
