Microcontroller based safety interlock system

Description

A safety interlock unit has been designed using microcontroller, fabricated and installed at FEL laboratory, Centre for Advanced Technology, Indore. The unit has been interfaced with PC using LABVIEW. The system is for personnel safety by radiation and high voltage, it needs to be ensured that the accelerator room is emptied before the operation of the machine. Hence a reliable system is needed to check whether the accelerator room is emptied or not
