Description

The temperature dependence of the dielectric permittivity and dielectric hysteresis loops in the ceramic samples of nominally pure CdTiO3 and Sr1-xCdxTiO3 solid solution are studied. It is established that at of 76.5 K there takes place in the CdTiO3 the ferroelectric transition close to the tricritical point. The temperature dependence of the CdTiO3 spontaneous polarization is described within the frames of the theory of the Landau phase transitions with the parameter critical index value of the ≅ 0.25 order. The phase diagram of the Sr1-xCdxTiO3 solid solution is plotted in the (T, x) coordinates and the value of critical concentration xc = 0.002 is determined, above which there originates in the solid solution the induced polar state
