Description

The Chernobyl reactor accident has pronupted all European countries to rehabilitate their existing measurement and monitoring systems and to design and erect new ones. These systems are meant to ensure a rapid overview on the situation in case of an accident to adopt suitable actions for protection or prevention. 6 papers report on the state of such measurement systems in Europe, inparticular those in France (TELERAY), in Germany (IMIS) and in Switzerland (RADAIR). The IMIS-system is discussed for its extension to Eastern Germany. (HP)

Abstract (German)

Der Reaktorunfall von Tschernobyl hat dazu gefuehrt, dass alle Staaten in Europa die bereits vorhandenen Mess- und Ueberwachungssysteme ertuechtigten, neue Systeme konzipierten und aufbauten. Ihre Aufgabe ist es, im Ereignisfall schnell eine Lageuebersicht zu gewaehrleisten, mit der geeignete Schutz- bzw. Vorsorgemassnahmen getroffen werden koennen. Die 6 Vortraege befassen sich mit dem neuesten Stand solcher Messnetze in Europa und hierbei insbesondere mit jenen in Frankreich (TELERAY), Deutschland (IMIS) und der Schweiz (RADAIR). Die Ausdehnung des Messsystems IMIS auf die neuen Bundeslaender wird diskutiert. (HP)
