Taxonomy: nuclear acknowledged as 'green technology' by Europe

This article comments the decision of the European Parliament to integrate nuclear energy into the European taxonomy which aims at promoting investments in green technologies. However, some strict controls on nuclear energy are remaining (decision to be taken for reactor lifetime extension, and for the construction of reactors of new generations). However, the objective of carbon neutrality by 2050 is still not sure to be reached. This vote has been notably motivated by the necessity to reach carbon neutrality by 2050, but also by the situation created by the war in Ukraine
