Novel scaling behavior for the multiplicity distribution under second-order quark-hadron phase transition

  • 1. Research Institute for Particle and Nuclear Physics, Budapest (Hungary)

Description

Multiplicity distribution in small bins is studied within the Ginzburg-Landau description for second-order quark-hadron phase transition. Dynamical factor dq for the distribution and ratio Dq ≡ dq/d1 are defined and novel scaling behaviors between Dq are found which can be used to detect the formation of quark-gluon plasma. (author)
