Thermodynamics and hydrodynamics (statistical basis). 1. Formulation of problem

  • 1. Inst. Fizicheskoj Khimii RAN, Moscow (Russian Federation)

Description

The physical prerequisites of the statistical mechanics are analyzed and it is shown that it may be only local one. This means, that the structure of the matter and its macroscopic parameters (excluding the ρ-densities, the υ-vector-liquid velocities and the θ-temperatures) should be determined by the events inside the correlation sphere of the radius R ≅ 10-7 cm; the ρ, υ-vector and θ values, serving as the assigned parameters for the BBGKI hierarchy, should be determined by solving the hydrodynamics equations with an account of the macroscopic boundary and initial conditions
