Assessment of aberrant right subclavian artery using multi-detector CT. Frequency and CT appearance

Description
Aberrant right subclavian artery (ARSCA) originates from the aortic arch distal to the origin of the left subclavian artery (LSCA). We assessed the frequency of ARSCA using multi-detector CT. ARSCA was identified in 25 of 5,218 patients. The frequency of ARSCA was 0.36% in males, 0.62% in females, and 0.48% in both genders. (author)
