Peculiarities of pulsed arc welding of steels in argon-carbon dioxide mixture
Description
During the course of the pulsed arc welding carried out in a mixture of argon with carbon dioxide, the peculiar features of the transfer of the electrode metal and the formation of a welding seam have been studied. The mechanical properties of the welding seam and of weld oints between the steels of different classes are presented, the welding seams and joints being prepared by the pulsed arc welding in the above gas mixture. The economical expediency of applying the above welding method is shown
