Combining Next-to-Leading Order QCD Calculations and Patron Showers
Creators
Description
We have investigated a general systematic method for combining next-to-leading order QCD calculations with parton shower algorithms. We implemented this method for the case of inclusive jet production in the laboratory reference frame in ep scattering and calculated inclusive jet cross-sections and jet shape distributions. We find good agreement between our calculations and data from the ZEUS collaboration. In addition, we started implementing the same method for the case of di jet production in the Breit reference frame. (author)
