Spectrum of neutrino radiation of collapsing degenerate stellar cores. Monte Carlo calculations
- 1. AN SSSR, Moscow. Inst. Prikladnoj Matematiki
Description
The change of the hard part (epsilon>10 MeV) of the spectrum of neutrino radiation of collapsing degenerate stellar cores at small (tau<=10) neutrino opacities of the matter is analyzed. Neutrino interaction in the degenerate matter is determined by the processes of neutrino scattering on nuclei in which neutrino energy is not changed and of neutrino scattering on degenerate electrons in which neutrino energy may only decrease. Monte-Carlo calculations of the spectrum of neutrino radiation of collapsing stellar core A) at the central density rhosub(c)=1012 g/cm, when the core stars to be opaque for neutrinos, and B) at the stage of deep collapse at rhosub(c)=6x1013 g/cm3 are presented. In the latter case, the spectrum obtained without an account for the neutrino degeneracy effects in the central regions of the collapsing core corresponds to the maximal possible suppression of the hard part of the neutrino spectrum
