A search for rare and forbidden decays of η-meson with GAMS-4π

Description

A search for the rare and forbidden neutral decays of η-meson with the GAMS-4π setup has been performed. The charge-exchange reaction at 32.5 GeV/c was used as a source of 3.7-bar 106η-mesons. At the 90% confidence level the following upper limits were obtained: BR(η->3γ)<1.6-bar 10-4, BR(η->4γ)<2.8-bar 10-4, BR(η->πoπo)<3.5-bar 10-4, BR(η->πoπoγ)<1.7-bar 10-3, BR(η->πoπoγγ)<4.0-bar 10-3, BR(η->3πoγ)<2.4-bar 10-4, BR(η->4πo)<2.0-bar 10-5
