Description

In order to investigate Ni-impurity effects on the Cu-spin dynamics in a wide range of hole concentration, we have performed zero-field muon-spin-relaxation measurements in La2-xSrxCu1-yNiyO4 (LSCNO) with x=0.08-0.30 and y=0-0.10. It has been found that the hole-trapping effect of Ni clearly appears in heavily Ni-substituted LSCNO with y≥0.05, while the stripe-pinning effect of Ni is marked in lightly Ni-substituted LSCNO around x=1/8 .
