Uranium level of some reservoirs, springs and natural protective area at Dongting lake valley

The uranium contents in the filtered and unfiltered specimens of some reservoir water, spring water and water from natural protective area at Dongting lake valley were measured by fission track analytical technique. Ranges of uranium contents of the reservoir (42 speciments from 10 reservoirs), spring (13 specimens from 12 springs) and natural protective area (14 specimens from 10 sections) are 0.09-2.07, 0.005-1.08 and 0.005-0.32μg · 1-1 respectively.
