On applicability of dilute solutions laws for liquid metallic systems
Creators
Description
Results of electrochemical separation of cerium and yttrium on different liquid metal electrodes in KCl-NaCl-LnCl3 melt are presented. In all cases the salt phase is enriched by yttrium and the metal one-by cerium. A good agreement of results obtained with the source cerium and yttrium alloys testifies to the fact that exchange reaction equilibrium is achieved in the experiments
