Parity violation in the 117Sn(n,γ)118Sn reaction

Description
P-violation asymmetry W(THETA)=const(1+a cosTHETA) of γ-emission followed the capture of polarized thermal neutrons by nuclei 117Sn has been observed. Parameter of asymme--try is a=(8.8+-1.2)x10-4. Also P-violation asymmetry in the reaction 113Cd(n,γ) 114Cd has been measured. Parameter of asymmetry is a=(5.2+-1.3)x10-4 that is in a good agreement with well-known data
