Calculation of the second and higher order relativistic correlations to the deuterium charge form factor

Description
On the basis of the relativistic integral representation for the deuteron electromagnetic form factors (EMFFD) the value and the sign of the relativistic corrections (RC) are calculated. The nonrelativistic approximation and the approximation including the term to the second order in (v/c) are made. The term to the second order is positive on the contrary to the RC of Casper and Gross. The sum of RC to all orders in ( approximately (v/c)sup(n > 2)) is negative and decreases the value of the charge FFD but the total RC (to all orders in (v/c)) remains positive. First, it is shown, that numerically the nonrelativistic approach seems more like the pure relativistic approach, than the approach which includes the RC to any fixed order in (v/c), Second, Gross prescription for the relativization of nonrelativistic deuteron wave function is not unique or physically preferable
