Rupture of the spleen by penetration of pancreatic pseudocysts

Description
2 patients with known chronic recurrent pancreatitis and proven pancreatic pseudocysts in the tail of the pancreas developed a pseudocystic invasion of the spleen followed by tryptic erosion of it. This complication, previously seldom reported, occurred twice in one year, the diagnosis being achieved by CT. (orig.)
