Description
"EFFI-CYCLE" derived from Efficient-Cycle promotes reducing dependency on fossil fuels for domestic transport application. The objective of this paper is to conceive, design and fabricate a three-wheel configuration (tad-pole design) vehicle powered by human-electric hybrid power and capable of seating two passengers catering to the day to day mobility needs. PTC Creo 3.0 software is used for geometric modelling of the vehicle's frame. To ensure the safety of the design the model is then imported into ANSYS V16.2 for impact analyses. Results in terms of deformation, strain and von Mises stresses are plotted. After successfully completing the design and simulation of the frame and other components it is then fabricated in the college's (S R Engineering College, Warangal) workshop. (paper)
