Study the effects of solvent and paramagnetic atoms on the spectral characteristics of laser dyes

Description

In this work, the spectral characteristics of seven well known dyes are presented. Hexacyanine, cryptocyanine, esculine coumarin 6, rhodamine 6 G, rhodaminelol, and cryslviolet were dissolved in different solvents and studied before and after the addition of some paramagnetic metals, copper, iron, and aluminium. Pyridine, dmso, chlorobenzene, and dichloroethane which have not been used before with these dyes were tried together with other common solvents like water, ethanol, and methanol. 18 tabs.; 60 figs.; 37 refs
