The use of nuclear energy in China. Perspectives and status for nuclear power in China
Description
Since 1980's with increase of requirement of electric power the peaceful use of nuclear energy in China is flourishing. Now three units, total installed capacity of 2,000 MWe, are in operation. In the ninth five-year-plan (1996 to 2000) another eight units, total installed capacity of 6,600 MWe, will be under construction. In the first half of next century the installed capacity of 120 to 240 GWe shall be constructed so that the market of nuclear electricity in China shall be attractive. (orig.)
Abstract (German)
(orig.)Additional details
