Outcomes-Based Training and Education for Protective Forces

Outcomes Based Training & Education (OBT&E) is an approach to training that increases real-world mission performance by deliberately promoting the development of individual initiative, collective agility, and, most importantly, enhancing leader confidence through the development of mission-specific skills and professional competence. By focusing on goals, level of difficulty, conscientious design of training activities, competition, and after-action reviews, student performance during mission execution can improve significantly.
