Description
Silicon Microstrip Detector (SMD) is a semiconducting detector, it has best spatial resolution, σ=1.4 μm, it has applied to more experiments of the high energy physics as vertex detector for instance LEP at CERN, BARBA at SLAC, D0 and CDF at Fermilab, Zeus and HI at DESY, KEK.... In this paper, the basic, structure, working principle and its development are presented
