Description
Serum ferritin was measured by two different radioimmunometric methods a) the Addison assay, b) a commercial radioimmunoassay. Iron storage in the body was determined using 59Fe. A dose correlation was found between serum ferritin and iron storage in the body. (AJ)

Mit zwei verschiedenen radioimmunologischen Methoden, a) dem radioimmunometrischen Test nach Addison und b) einem im Handel erhaeltlichen Radioimmunoassay wurde der Serum-Ferritingehalt bestimmt. Die Eisenspeicherung des Koerpers wurde mit 59Fe bestimmt. Es wurde ein enger Zusammenhang zwischen Serumferritin und Eisenspeicherung des Koerpers gemessen. (AJ)
