Contamination of the waters with environmental chemicals and radioactive materials

Everywhere in our environment there are substances which are dangerous to health and whose behaviour, toxicity, and carcinogenic action are still largely unknown in spite of all technical development. Even more attention than in the past should therefore be paid to the absolute safety of all facilities, the measurement and registration of all hitherto unknown values, and the efficient disposal of the many solid and liquid wastes.
