A natural origin of a hierarchy of scales
Description
It is proposed that the hierarchical scales-from MPlanck to mv-have a common origin. Using MPlanck and a metacolor gauge coupling as the only input parameters, this paper shows how large ratios such as (Mpl/MI) (MPl/δms) (MPl/mw) (MPl/mt) and even (MPl/mp) ≥ 1-P27 can arise naturally. here MI denotes an intermediate scale ∼ 1011 GeV, which is identified with the scale parameter of the metacolor force, while δms, denotes SUSY-breaking mass splittings ∼ 1 TeV. Features of the model are presented
