Equipment for determining amount of absorbed energy in material irradiated with accelerated electrons

Description
At the irradiation zone entry and exit, pyroelectric sensors are installed facing the transport path along which the material being irradiated is carried. The sensors are connected via impedance transducers and selective amplifiers to a device for temperature increase evaluation. Absorbed energy is continually measured during continuous irradiation. The output signal in electronic form can be used in direct real-time control of the irradiation conditions. (M.D.). 3 figs
