Cross-section of the muon-nuclear inelastic interaction

Description
It is shown that the combination of the structure functions F2 predicted by the CKMT model at low and moderate values of Q2 and the MRS99 parton distribution functions at high Q2 gives a good description of the data over the complete measured region of x and Q2. Using these structure functions, the main characteristics of the muon-nuclear inelastic scattering are calculated. Nuclear effects and contributions of the neutral current and the γ-Z interference are taken into account

Показано, что комбинация структурных функций F2, предсказанная СКМТ моделью при низких и умеренных величинах Q2 и партонными функциями распределения MRS99, дает хорошее описание данных в полностью измеренной области х и Q2. Используя эти структурные функции, вычислены основные характеристики мюон-нуклонного неупругого рассеяния.
